Kathy Mason
Regional Director
Kathy’s passion for home care stemmed from the passing of a dear aunt when she was a new mom. Her aunt was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and her wish was to be in her home with her beloved poodles until she passed. This was almost 40 years ago when home care was a very new concept. Kathy felt helpless, unable to help her with her request. Kathy came to Griswold Home Care in 2001 with a mission to help anyone with the desire to remain in their home. It has been her absolute pleasure to be a part of this company.

Trish Braun
Office Manager
Trish joined Griswold in July 2026 with a background in operations and customer care.
Throughout her professional experience, she has developed strong skills in communication, organization, and employee and client relations. She looks forward to using these skills to help build and grow the Ocean and Monmouth County locations.
Having lived in Monmouth and Ocean counties for most of her life, Trish brings a strong connection to the local community and a genuine understanding of the area she serves. She enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and caregivers and looks forward to making a positive impact in the community.
Outside of work, Trish enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, watching TV, and relaxing by the pool.

Caregiver Onboarding
Since 2005, Tracy's primary responsibility has been screening, hiring and maintaining records for top-quality Caregivers who provide in-home care to clients throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
With extensive knowledge of the entire office operation, she is also ready to provide support wherever assistance is needed.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, especially cruising, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Kathi Connolly
Case Manager
Kathi has been a valued member of our Griswold team since December 1997, bringing nearly three decades of experience, compassion, and dedication to the organization. Before joining the team, she spent more than two years working directly with clients as a caregiver, giving her a firsthand understanding of the importance of quality, compassionate care.
For Kathi, the most rewarding part of her work has always been the people. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with dedicated caregivers, wonderful clients, and the amazing coworkers who make each day special. Over the years, many of those professional relationships have blossomed into lifelong friendships.
Outside the office, Kathi's greatest joy is her family. She treasures time spent with her three children and their spouses, seven grandchildren, and great-grandson. Her family is growing, too, with a great-granddaughter expected in February!
One of Kathi's favorite places to be is a hockey rink, cheering on her grandson! He's been guarding the net as a goalie since he was just five years old and is now continuing his hockey journey as a freshman at Stockton University. Through every save and every season, Kathi has proudly been one of his biggest fans!
Monica DeFazio

Monica joined our Ocean County and Monmouth County team in July 2026.
She is a dedicated and compassionate professional who genuinely enjoys helping others and building meaningful relationships.
With a strong background in customer service, healthcare, and care coordination, she takes pride in making people feel heard, supported, and cared for.
Monica brings a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a personal touch to everything she does.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and making the most of life’s little moments.

I am a dedicated Registered Nurse with over 40 years of experience primarily in the home care setting. My passion is helping individuals within their communities, supporting them to remain in their homes and promoting their independence.

Jean’s Story
In 1982, Dr. Jean Griswold founded our company at her dining room table in a small suburb of Philadelphia. She found out that an elderly woman in her community had died of complications because she had no support system for care. Jean felt this was an easily preventable tragedy and was driven to find a solution by pairing Caregivers with those who could not thrive in their homes alone. She was a true visionary, establishing one of the first and most successful non-medical home care organizations while navigating the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis and life as a wheelchair user. Over 40 years later, her legacy lives on nationwide.

Where would we be without Caregivers? Their selflessness is astounding, yet they are often overlooked and underappreciated. The Jean Griswold Foundation is dedicated to supporting Caregivers, the backbone of the care industry. We provide educational scholarships so Care Professionals can further their training, enhance their skills, elevate their careers, and better assist the people they serve.
