Home Care Rates for Northern Virginia East
Griswold Home Care for Northern Viginia East is honored to offer home care to seniors, disabled adults, and others who need a little extra help to maintain their independence. Our caregivers come from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences, including caring for clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia, neuromuscular conditions, and post-surgery and rehab needs. They can help mitigate fall risks, which greatly reduces the risk of injury.
Our caregivers can provide personal care, homemaking services, and companionship care. Personal care services include support with bathing, grooming, skin care, range of motion activities, and continence care.
Homemaking services can include things like meal planning, laundry, cooking, shopping, errand running, and pet or plant care. Companionship care includes activities such as playing board games or transporting and accompanying clients when visiting friends and going to church or appointments.
Often, our caregivers provide a break or respite care for family members who serve as the primary caregivers. They can help pick up right where you leave off. A caregiver can come into your home or facility for as little as four hours a week or up to 24 hours, 7 days a week as a live-in caregiver.

- Please inquire about couple’s rates or custom needs.
- Transportation with or for client using the caregiver’s vehicle is charged at the current IRS reimbursement rate.
- Additional fees apply for more than 40 hours per work week per caregiver.
- Holiday time and a half rates apply for hours worked on certain holidays, such as New Year’s Eve/Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve/Day.
