Older Americans Month in Baton Rouge
Category:
Did you know that thousands of older adults in Baton Rouge and neighboring communities depend on quality care and trusted local resources to age well?
Every May, communities across the United States come together to recognize Older Americans Month, a time to celebrate the contributions of older adults and reaffirm our commitment to their well-being. This celebration is a powerful reminder of Griswold’s promise to support seniors and help them Live Assured. The 2026 theme, Champion Your Health, focuses on prevention, wellness, and personal responsibility as cornerstones of healthy aging.
At Griswold Home Care for Baton Rouge, we’re dedicated to empowering seniors to live independently and safely at home with compassionate Caregivers. Our team is devoted to helping older adults remain active, connected, and supported, whether through hourly or live-in care services in Gonzales, Prairieville, Zachary, and the entire Baton Rouge region.
In honor of Older Americans Month, we’re highlighting senior centers and local office on aging agencies and their offerings, including wellness classes, social opportunities, and support services that help you stay independent and engaged.
