Hunter & Rachel Dale

Owners

Hunter and Rachel Dale are the owners of Griswold Home Care, which they started in 2013 and have guided ever since. Hunter oversees the company's strategic direction, finances, and growth. He was inspired to start the business by watching great caregivers make it possible for his grandparents, on both sides of his family, to stay in their own homes as they aged. Today, Hunter and Rachel are proud of the thousands of people and families across the Greater Baton Rouge area the company has helped continue living where they love.

Hunter is originally from Natchez, Mississippi, and earned his undergraduate degree at Southern Methodist University and his MBA at the University of Texas. Rachel is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana. They now live in Baton Rouge with their two young daughters and their dog, Willow, and enjoy traveling, hunting, and playing tennis together as a family. Outside of work, Rachel is a pro bono taxi driver for her kids, with no tips or time off. Hunter is a die-hard LSU football fan. And no, he didn't graduate from LSU, but he did take three hours of summer school there. Check the transcript.

Tricia Holifield

Executive Director

Tricia Holifield is the Executive Director of Griswold Home Care, where she has led the Baton Rouge office since 2021 — supporting her team, driving growth, and making sure clients, Caregivers, and community partners receive the best possible experience. Tricia came to home care from the physical therapy industry after 22 years of working with the senior community; she holds a BS in Kinesiology from LSU, an associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from FranU, and an active Louisiana PTA license. Under her leadership, the office has earned Provider of Choice, Employer of Choice, and Leader in Experience honors, along with a Best of Baton Rouge Gold award — and she is still often the first person a new family speaks with when they call. Born in Baton Rouge and raised in Central, Tricia is a proud mom to her sons, Arlen (a U.S. Marine) and Hayden, and she enjoys traveling with her fiancé, Anthony, and building family memories with all of them — dogs Chloe and Maverick included. Her one confessed fear: the Easter Bunny.

Lauren Smith

Operations Manager

Lauren Smith is the Operations Manager at Griswold Home Care, overseeing daily operations — staffing, client care, compliance, and team performance — so that clients receive consistent, high-quality care at home. Lauren has spent all 18 years of her career in senior care, helping families navigate the healthcare system and find the right care at the right time. She holds a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration from FranU and a master's in Gerontology–Program Administration from the University of Louisiana Monroe, and has been a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 2015. Colleagues describe her as the person who brings clarity to chaos: a practical problem-solver who leads by being present, listening, and never losing sight of the people we serve. Born and raised in New Orleans and now living in Prairieville, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family  — usually on a sports sideline or traveling — and was crowned the 2010 Bridge City Gumbo Festival Queen.

Lucionda "Luci" Garnett

Lead Caregiver Recruiter

Lucionda "Luci" Garnett, BSHA, MBA,  is our Lead Caregiver Recruiter, responsible for finding, hiring, and onboarding the skilled caregivers our clients depend on — from interviews and credentialing to making sure every new hire feels supported and engaged from day one. For Luci, home care is a calling. She comes from a family of caregivers and nurses, and helping others has been part of who she is for all 28 years of her career, more than eight of them with Griswold Home Care. She holds a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration and an MBA, and she is the person colleagues turn to when they need help with staffing or navigating a process. Her philosophy is simple: lead with empathy, communicate openly, and approach every challenge with a solution in mind. A Baton Rouge native, Luci loves traveling, trying new restaurants, and quality time with loved ones — and she binge-watches enough crime shows to suspect she was a crime scene investigator in a past life.

Caitlin Ducote

Client Support Specialist

Caitlin Ducote is a Client Support Specialist who connects clients with dependable caregivers and keeps communication flowing between clients, families, and caregivers so every client receives consistent, compassionate care at home. Caitlin found her passion for home care staffing in Eugene, Oregon, and when she relocated back home to South Louisiana in 2025, joining Griswold Home Care was the natural next step. She brings experience in caregiver onboarding, scheduling, and IDD training — and a reputation for quick, practical solutions. One example: she once coordinated the launch of a 24/7 continuous-coverage case with less than five hours' notice, ensuring the client had safe, seamless care exactly when they needed it most. Originally from West Baton Rouge Parish and now settled in Brusly, Caitlin spends her free time with her nine-year-old son, Kyle, their dog Chewy, and a leopard gecko who lives in a bioactive habitat she built herself.

Kathleen Guidry

Client Support Specialist

Kathleen Guidry is a Client Support Specialist who makes sure clients get timely, professional support — answering questions, resolving issues, coordinating care, and building the kind of relationships that put families at ease. Kathleen brings 31 years of caregiving experience to the role, including work as a CNA with Alzheimer's and dementia patients, elderly individuals, and people with intellectual and behavioral challenges across hospitals, nursing homes, and private homes. That background gives her rare patience, empathy, and calm under pressure, and colleagues rely on her to take the lead on the most complex cases while keeping her caseload running smoothly. Her approach: listen first, communicate clearly, and treat every client and caregiver with respect and compassion. Born in Alabama and raised in Louisiana since 1980, Kathleen loves fishing, time with family, and cheering on her beloved Alabama football team — Roll Tide!  (Important Note: the rest of the office staff does not approve of this last sentence and strongly considered deleting it...)

Lucinda "Cindy" Wells

Administrative Assistant / HR

Lucinda "Cindy" Wells keeps the office running as our Administrative Assistant, handling daily operations, HR support, and assisting with billing and payroll. Cindy knows home care from the inside: she spent eight years as a Caregiver before earning her Medical Office Administration certification from Martinsburg College, then sharpened her coordination skills as a physician's-office scheduler and a home care scheduling coordinator before joining Griswold Home Care. Ask the team what Cindy helps with and you'll hear the same answer — a little bit of everything. Dependable, adaptable, and solution-oriented, she would rather fix a problem than wait for someone else to, and she brings a caregiver's patience and compassion to every interaction. Born in College Station, Texas and raised in Baton Rouge, Cindy loves cooking, baking, and time with family and friends — often with Benji, her four-year-old Yorkiepoo, along for whatever adventure she turns up next.

Alisha Jarrett

On-Call Specialist

Alisha Jarrett is Griswold Home Care's On-Call Specialist — the person holding everything together when the office is closed. For the past two years, she has managed after-hours caregiver and client needs, from call-offs and schedule changes to emergencies, coordinating coverage and keeping everyone informed so care never misses a beat. Alisha brings fourteen years of caregiving experience and six years managing after-hours operations to the role, along with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, a Master of Arts in Social Sciences, and an active CNA certification, plus specialized training in crisis intervention, care coordination, and behavioral and mental health support. Clients and caregivers will tell you she's a pleasure to talk to, whatever the hour. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Alisha spends her off-call time with her two children and family — often fishing, competing to catch the biggest bass — or catching a well-earned nap.
