Understanding the Cost of Home Care: What to Expect
One of the most common questions families ask when exploring home care is, “What does it cost?” The answer depends on the level of care, hours needed, and the type of services provided—but we believe in being transparent so you can plan with confidence.
Hourly Care Rates
For clients needing flexible, non-24/7 support, our pricing is based on weekly hours:
- 16+ hours per week: $33.75 per hour
- Less than 16 hours per week: $46.00 per hour
This structure allows us to provide better value to clients who need more consistent care while still offering flexibility for those needing occasional support.
24/7 Care
For clients who require around-the-clock assistance, we offer a reduced bundled rate:
- 24/7 care: $32.00 per hour
This option ensures continuous support while making full-time care more affordable.
Specialized Care Needs
Some situations require a higher level of attention and expertise:
- Extensive care cases: +$6.00 per hour
- Couple care (two clients in the same home): +$6.00 per hour
These adjustments reflect the additional time, skill, and coordination required to deliver excellent care in more complex situations. This determination will be made by one of our registered nurses.
Third-Party & Covered Care Options
We also work with select programs that may reduce or fully cover the cost of care:
- VA (Veterans Affairs): Care hours may be fully covered for eligible veterans
- Care Scout program: $28.57 per hour
If you think you may qualify for assistance, our team is happy to guide you through the process.
