Christina’s path to home care was shaped by personal experience and a desire to serve others in meaningful ways. After caring for her father during the final months of his life, she felt drawn to support families who need steady, trusted care during important seasons.

With over two decades in finance, Christina brings accountability, advocacy, and thoughtful decision-making to her work at Griswold Home Care for Ocala and The Villages. She understands that whether someone is reaching out for themselves or for a loved one, the need for care often comes with important questions and emotions. Christina believes no one should feel rushed or unsure in this process. She focuses on listening first, helping each person feel comfortable, informed, and supported every step of the way.

As a devoted mother raising her children in the local community, Christina understands that caregiving is deeply personal. She believes caring for others is both a responsibility and a privilege, and she is honored to serve seniors and families throughout Ocala and The Villages with dignity and genuine presence. Whether you are planning ahead or need support right now, she is here to help guide you through the process with care and understanding. When she’s not working, Christina values time with her family, being outdoors, and reading.

Eric Schuster

Eric’s interest in home care grew from watching his father provide ongoing care for his grandmother, who lives with dementia, as well as seeing his mother care for her aunt, who had severe dementia. Experiencing the patience, consistency, and love required to support loved ones at home gave him a deep appreciation for the role caregivers play in a family’s life.

Eric brings a strong background in leadership and logistics management, along with experience in finance, giving him a steady, organized, and solutions-oriented approach to his work. He is known for his calm presence and reliability, and for creating an environment where seniors feel respected and supported, and where families feel confident their loved ones are receiving attentive, thoughtful care.

Eric believes in showing up with consistency, clear communication, and genuine care for each family he serves. He is committed to helping families find the right support while ensuring every client is treated with dignity and respect.

Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to music, playing guitar, and watching Chicago sports teams.

Jenea Tener

Jenea has been an APRN for 17 years and entered the field with a strong passion for helping people and supporting them through their health journeys. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, riding her horses, and being outdoors.

Monica Griffin

RN

Monica is an APRN nurse-midwife who has spent the majority of her career in a deeply rewarding profession, providing compassionate care, guidance, and support to women and families at various stages of life. Now semi-retired, she continues to value health, balance, and lifelong learning. In her personal time, Monica enjoys cycling, swimming, and playing the piano, pursuits that bring her great joy and fulfillment.

Gunner

Senior Companion Ambassador

Rescued from the pound after a lengthy stay, Gunner joined our family a few years ago when he was eight and has been sharing his love with all he meets ever since. With his gentle spirit, love of fetch, and special fondness for sweet potatoes, he brings comfort, warmth, and a sense of ease wherever he goes. As our Senior Companion Ambassador, he shows the heart of our mission through sweet companionship, comforting presence, and plenty of love.
