Meet Your Team
Christina Depalma
Owner/Director
Christina’s path to home care was shaped by personal experience and a desire to serve others in meaningful ways. After caring for her father during the final months of his life, she felt drawn to support families who need steady, trusted care during important seasons.
With over two decades in finance, Christina brings accountability, advocacy, and thoughtful decision making into her work at Griswold Home Care for Ocala and The Villages. She understands how families are often caring for children, building careers, and wanting the very best for their parents at the same time, and she is passionate about helping them navigate these moments with clarity and compassion.
As a devoted mother raising her children in the local community, Christina understands that caregiving is deeply personal. She believes caring for others is both a responsibility and a privilege, and she is honored to serve seniors and families throughout Ocala and The Villages with dignity and genuine presence. When she’s not working, Christina values time with her family, being outdoors, and reading.
Jenea Tener
Administrator
I have been an APRN for 17 years, and entered the field because of my passion for helping people and supporting them through their health journeys. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, riding my horses and being outdoors.
Monica Griffin
RN
As an APRN nurse midwife, I have spent the majority of my career in a profession I found deeply rewarding, providing compassionate care, guidance, and support to women and families across many stages of life. Now semi-retired, I continue to value health, balance, and lifelong learning. In my personal time, I enjoy cycling, swimming, and playing the piano, pursuits that bring me great joy and fulfillment.
Gunner
Senior Companion Ambassador
Rescued from the pound after a lengthy stay, Gunner joined our family a few years ago when he was eight and has been sharing his love with all he meets ever since. With his gentle spirit, love of fetch, and special fondness for sweet potatoes, he brings comfort, warmth, and a sense of ease wherever he goes. As our Senior Companion Ambassador, he shows the heart of our mission through sweet companionship, comforting presence, and plenty of love.
In Your Community
We’re in This Together
Our team is dedicated to improving the well-being of our community through serving those who need assistance to live where they love. We are active in the neighborhood, so you’ll see us around town at events, participating in associations and meetings, and supporting local organizations inside and outside the care industry. We firmly believe in our ability to create a happier and healthier place to live through the connections we make with the people in our community.

Jean’s Story
In 1982, Dr. Jean Griswold founded our company at her dining room table in a small suburb of Philadelphia. She found out that an elderly woman in her community had died of complications because she had no support system for care. Jean felt this was an easily preventable tragedy and was driven to find a solution by pairing Caregivers with those who could not thrive in their homes alone. She was a true visionary, establishing one of the first and most successful non-medical home care organizations in the country, despite being wheelchair-bound due to Multiple Sclerosis. Over 40 years later, her legacy lives on nationwide.
Scholarship
Where would we be without Caregivers? Their selflessness is astounding, yet they are often overlooked and underappreciated. The Jean Griswold Foundation is dedicated to supporting Caregivers, the backbone of the care industry. We provide educational scholarships so Care Professionals can further their training, enhance their skills, elevate their careers, and better assist the people they serve.
