Brett Myhre
Owner/Director, CSA
Hello, my name is Brett Myhre. I am one of the owners at Griswold Home Care of Anoka County. Servicing Anoka County and the surrounding metro area. I wanted to get into the home care industry after discovering there were people in our community not able to get the help they needed to stay in their homes. Family is very important to me and growing up I was lucky enough to be able to see my grandparents regularly. My grandparents would have benefited from the services we offer. Our services would have allowed them to stay in their homes longer, before having to eventually move into facilities. By earning my CSA - Certified Senior Advisor, it has helped me to have a better understanding on the health, social and financial factors important to seniors. It’s important to us to help our clients keep their independence and dignity no matter what their circumstances. In my free time I enjoy utilizing my creative side and also spending time with my wife and two little daughters.
Nicole Myhre
Owner/Director
My name is Nicole Myhre and I’m one of the owners of Griswold Home Care of Anoka County. I own this business with my husband Brett. We have two beautiful little girls; Rowin 4 and Rivelle 2. Starting this business was the beginning of something wonderful for our family. I’ve always enjoyed helping people. I feel so much joy in giving people the help they need to live in the place they love. I no longer have any living grandparents and this is my way of helping the people of our community keep their loved ones close.
Gabi Alioto
Director of Operations
Hello, my name is Gabi Alioto and I am the Director of Operations at Griswold Home Care. I live in Ramsey with my spouse and our 2-year-old Coonhound/Shepard mix, Maisy. I began my career in healthcare as a CNA in a skilled nursing facility in Wisconsin. While working as a CNA, I developed a passion for working with seniors and vulnerable adults. I attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire where I obtained my bachelor's in Communications, Sciences, and Disorders. Most recently, I received my master's in Health and Human Services Administration from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. I moved to the Twin Cities in 2021. I have experience working in assisted living management and in primary care clinics for women 65+. I joined Griswold because of the compassionate, like-minded people that share the same values as me for serving seniors in our community.
April Stancer
Director of Nursing
I began my nursing journey in 2012. It wasn't long after I started working that I realized I had a strong passion for serving and caring for others. I have spent the majority of my nursing career caring for geriatric clients while also providing end-of-life care. My faith and my family are very important to me. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and kids as well as hosting family gatherings in our home.
Katie Stuart
R.N.
Hello, my name is Katie Stuart and I am a registered nurse with Griswold Homecare. I graduated with my RN in 2019 from Anoka Ramsey Community College, and then received my BSN from University of North Dakota in 2022. I am passionate about providing care to all groups of people, including those underserved. I joined Griswold because they are helping people stay independent and care about the community they serve. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, going to our cabin, and trying new recipes.
Ashley Anderson
R.N.
I have a long history working in healthcare and helping others prior to my nursing career. I became a nurse in 2015 and have a passion for many different fields of nursing including mental health, and geriatrics. I provided care to my own grandmother while she aged in her home, that experience has led my passion for helping seniors and their family members. I have a husband, two young children, a dog and two cats at home. I enjoy having family time, doing anything outdoors, and traveling to new places.

In Your Community
We’re in This Together
Our team is dedicated to improving the well-being of our community through serving those who need assistance to live where they love. We are active in the neighborhood, so you’ll see us around town at events, participating in associations and meetings, and supporting local organizations inside and outside the care industry. We firmly believe in our ability to create a happier and healthier place to live through the connections we make with the people in our community.
Jean’s Story
In 1982, Dr. Jean Griswold founded our company at her dining room table in a small suburb of Philadelphia. She found out that an elderly woman in her community had died of complications because she had no support system for care. Jean felt this was an easily preventable tragedy and was driven to find a solution by pairing Caregivers with those who could not thrive in their homes alone. She was a true visionary, establishing one of the first and most successful non-medical home care organizations in the country, despite being wheelchair-bound due to Multiple Sclerosis. Over 40 years later, her legacy lives on nationwide.
Scholarship
Where would we be without Caregivers? Their selflessness is astounding, yet they are often overlooked and underappreciated. The Jean Griswold Foundation is dedicated to supporting Caregivers, the backbone of the care industry. We provide educational scholarships so Care Professionals can further their training, enhance their skills, elevate their careers, and better assist the people they serve.
