Thirteen Years Serving Wilmington

Thirteen years ago this month, we opened the doors of our home care agency in a historic building beside New Hanover High School in Wilmington, NC. It has been a journey!

Back in 2012

When we started, the average home price in Wilmington was $215,000, and to most people in our area, Griswold was just the name of a family in vacation movies.

13 Years of Growth

Since then, we have served hundreds of clients and employed hundreds of caregivers. We have outgrown two offices, moved less than a mile from the New Hanover County Senior Resource Center (and across the street from another high school – Hoggard), expanded to two floors, awarded scholarships to caregivers to continue their education, supported local non-profits that serve seniors, supported family caregivers through an art support group, cared for our veterans through the VA Community Care program, survived a world-wide pandemic, earned multiple Best of Home Care awards, started a Pen Pal program between local students and our senior community, and….earned Top 100 Best of Home Care in the nation this year!

Grateful for an Amazing Team

Words cannot fully express how thankful we are for all those who have been on this journey with us. While earning the Top 100 was an amazing honor, I feel that one of our greatest accomplishments was creating our amazing team. I am so proud of how they really care about our clients and are dedicated to making a difference in Wilmington.

It is because of our team that we were able to become a Top 100 agency that respects and honors both those who give and receive care in our community. Thank you to these amazing men and women. And, thank you Wilmington for the privilege of serving your home care needs.
