Sree and Sara, the owners of Griswold Home Care for Southeast Charlotte & Union Counties, both faced the challenges of helping their parents age at home. While trained as scientists, having worked at top universities and international companies, they also gained extensive knowledge in clinical science and the diagnostics business. This background enabled them to support their parents in aging gracefully, with dignity and respect. It was this firsthand experience that gave them a deep understanding of how truly essential home care is."
Dr. Sree, Owner of Griswold Home Care for Southeast Charlotte, is a trained cardiovascular scientist with a Ph.D. He has a wealth of knowledge in the physiology of aging and the pathophysiology of diseases. Throughout his career, Sree has worked at prestigious institutions like the National Institute of Immunology, INSERM, and The Ohio State University. He has published peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals and holds multiple patents. With extensive experience in the biotech and clinical industries, he has also served as a consultant and successfully started, operated, and exited several businesses.
Dr. Sara, Co-owner of Griswold Home Care for Southeast Charlotte, is a Ph.D. scientist and healthcare professional with experience in prestigious academic institutions and global industries. She has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals and received many honors and awards. Her areas of expertise include healthcare administration, clinical trial management, scientific R&D, regulatory compliance, and health economics & outcome research.

Jean’s Story
In 1982, Dr. Jean Griswold founded our company at her dining room table in a small suburb of Philadelphia. She found out that an elderly woman in her community had died of complications because she had no support system for care. Jean felt this was an easily preventable tragedy and was driven to find a solution by pairing Caregivers with those who could not thrive in their homes alone. She was a true visionary, establishing one of the first and most successful non-medical home care organizations in the country, despite being wheelchair-bound due to Multiple Sclerosis. Over 40 years later, her legacy lives on nationwide.

Where would we be without Caregivers? Their selflessness is astounding, yet they are often overlooked and underappreciated. The Jean Griswold Foundation is dedicated to supporting Caregivers, the backbone of the care industry. We provide educational scholarships so Care Professionals can further their training, enhance their skills, elevate their careers, and better assist the people they serve.
