These centers offer a variety of services and programs, including exercise classes, arts & crafts, music therapy, health presentations, nutrition courses, entertainment such as Bingo, day trips, blood pressure screenings, and legal assistance.
Brookletts Place
Located in Easton, “Brookletts Place is a center for seniors to gather and socialize with each other.” They provide community engagement to individuals 60 or older. Self-described as the prime location in Talbot for senior community engagement. Since it is run by a non-profit organization, Upper Shore Aging, there is no fee to become a member.
Typical classes/programs/workshops you might find on any given week here include:

- Arts & crafts
- Mahjong
- Art classes
- Live music
- Blood pressure screenings
- Computer courses
- Poetry classes
Bay Hundred Senior Center
The Bay Hundred Senior Center is co-located inside the Perkins Family YMCA. Senior-specific courses offered include arts enrichment, educational seminars, and access to legal services.
Membership in the YMCA is not needed to participate in senior center programs. That being said, being a member at the Y permits access to several amenities such as a 3-lane lap pool, group exercise studios, multipurpose room, wellness center, and sauna.
