Did you know that there are nearly 60 million adults aged 65 and older in the US, making up approximately 17% of the total population?

Every May, communities across the United States come together to recognize Older Americans Month, celebrating the contributions of older adults while reaffirming our shared commitment to their well-being. This celebration is a powerful reminder of Griswold’s commitment to supporting seniors and helping them Live Assured.

This year’s theme, Champion Your Health, emphasizes prevention, wellness, and personal responsibility as the cornerstones of healthy aging. It serves as a call to action for seniors and their families to take charge of their health, seek out preventive care, and make informed choices to remain independent and engaged.

At Griswold Home Care for Bucks & Montgomery Counties, we’re passionate about empowering seniors to live life to the fullest in their own homes and communities. We believe that every senior deserves the chance to age with dignity and independence. That’s why we go beyond traditional in-home care; we are deeply committed to connecting seniors in Bristol, Doylestown, Skippack, Ambler, Dresher, Pottstown, and beyond with the resources, programs, and support they need to stay healthy, active, and engaged.

In honor of Older Americans Month, we’re highlighting wellness classes, social opportunities, support services, and local agencies that help you stay independent and engaged.
