We are now offering free 24/7 Virtual Monitoring to all of our clients!

We’re excited to announce that starting September 1st, Griswold Care Pairing for Broward County will be offering 24/7 Virtual Caregiving Services. Whether you’re a Griswold client or simply in need of a little extra support, our virtual caregiving services will be here to provide peace of mind anytime. We are offering this to our clients free of charge, but even if you aren’t a client, you can still utilize Sensi for a monthly fee.

What is Sensi?

Sensi is a state-of-the-art virtual care agent that plugs into your home. Its HIPAA-compliant technology provides care by monitoring sounds throughout the home. When you sign up for Sensi, you will receive three small pods (pictured above) that are plugged into walls throughout the home. They are roughly the size of a deck of cards. There is no internet connection needed since the pods only collect audio data. The pod is triggered by care-related sounds, such as a fall or someone expressing pain or confusion, then it sends our staff an alert about said trigger. We also get reports with trends and data to better aid in adjustments to your care plan. With this technology, we can reduce hospitalizations and provide peace of mind to the family.

Example of How it Works

One of the most crucial aspects of Sensi is being able to detect changes in condition early, before they worsen. In this real example, a Griswold client had a fall shortly before integrating Sensi and was resistant to seeking medical attention. Shortly after integrating Sensi into the home, the technology detected over 30 notifications of pain within the first 10 days. With specific notes that the client’s tone conveyed severe pain, with increased complaints of difficulty walking. This data supported a connection that the client’s condition has gotten worse since the fall, and it was a good idea to seek medical attention. Once medical attention was received, the client was diagnosed with a fracture requiring surgery. Thus, they received the necessary treatment and returned home shortly after with care adjustments.
